How to Unlock Blackberry be it any type!

PREREQUISITES 1. Dial *#06# to find your IMEI number 2. Purchase you unlock code here: Traditional BlackBerry unlock codes 3. Your code will be emailed to you The fastest and easiest way to enter your unlock code is to insert a SIM card from a carrier other than the one the phone was originally locked to (Method 1). If you don't have your new SIM yet and want to unlock your phone right away, you can use Method 2 or 3  instead.   METHOD 1 - USE YOUR NEW SIM! 1. Insert a SIM card from a new carrier and turn on your phone, you will be prompted to enter your code. 2. Enter the entire 8 or 16 digit unlock code that you received by email and then press the enter/return key. You will either receive a message indicating that the code was accepted or just be taken directly back to your home screen.   3. Return to your home screen and then restart your phone (remove the battery and then re-insert it). You should now be unlocked! Warning! You have a total of 10 tries to enter your unlock code.  If you use up all 10 tries your phone will be permanently locked! If you have less than 5 tries left, please contact support before continuing.   METHOD 2 - UNLOCK THE HIDDEN MENU Please disable all connections on the phone (WIFI, Bluetooth, Network) before you begin. 1. Navigate to the SIM Card menu Open the Options application (the one that looks like wrench) Select Device Select Advanced System Settings Select SIM Card Once you are on the SIM card screen you will enter two sets of commands. You will not see any characters on the screen when you are typing these commands: 2. Hold the SHIFT key and type "mepd" (without the quotes), a new screen should be displayed which tells you whether or not your phone is locked. If your phone is locked you will see the word "Active" or "Enabled" beside "Network".  If that doesn't work, try holding down the ALT key while typing "mepd". Don't worry, this does not count towards your number of attempts. 3. Hold the ALT key and type "mepe" (without the quotes).  You should now be prompted to enter your unlock code. 4. Enter the entire 8 or 16 digit unlock code that you received by email and then press the enter/return key. You will either receive a message indicating that the code was accepted or just be taken directly back to your home screen.   5. Return to your home screen and then restart your phone (remove the battery and then re-insert it). You should now be unlocked!
